Stevioside (Stevioside; CNS: 19.008; INS: 960), also known as stevioside, is a glycoside extracted from the leaves of the Compositae Stevia Rebaudia (the plant is called Stevia in China). Stevia rebaudiana is produced in Paraguay and Brazil and is grown in China, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries.
